ADOPTABLE PUPS

Every dog deserves a soulmate.

Charlie

Charlie is a 3 year old, female Rottweiler from South Los Angeles, CA. We fell in love with this sweet girl after seeing videos of her playing with groups of pups at the shelter. She is dog friendly and people friendly!

It is clear Charlie had a hard life prior to arriving at South LA shelter. She is emaciated... incredibly underweight for her size and age: 63lbs. Her ribs and hips are visible but luckily, she is with a wonderful foster who has already helped Charlie gain 4lbs in the week she has been with her! Additionally, Charlie is having difficulty putting weight on one of her back legs so, we are taking donations to get her seen by our vet.

Charlie will be adoptable once she is at a healthier weight and once we have a diagnosis for her back leg.

She is the most loving girl who was dealt an awful hand at life but now, is looking for a caring, loving and committed family to show her how wonderful the world can truly be!

ADOPT

Mocha

Mocha is a 2 year old retired mama who had a litter of puppies and was found in Stanislaus County, CA tied to a bench with her baby girl, Roxy. Roxy was adopted but Mocha is still looking for her forever family. Mocha is 40lbs, amazing with children, people and most dogs but does have some resource guarding tendencies with other pups. Her ideal home would be with no other pups or a well mannered pup, and with a family to love her and dote on her.

Mocha has high drive and loves playing fetch and learning new tricks. One of her favorite activities is going for car rides! She is the perfect errand buddy. Mocha needs a family to love her and take her on adventures, she deserves it after the hard life she's been through!

ADOPT

Mama Sahara

Sahara is our two year old, feral German Shepherd mama who came to us two months ago from Palmdale desert in California. A friend reached out to us saying she was found in the desert and being cared for by a kind samaritan but needed a rescue to step in and help, so we said yes! She gave birth to 10 adorable puppies out there.

The past two months with Sahara have shown us a lot more of who she is and what she is capable of. She is trusting of humans that respect her space and boundaries, she is great with other dogs (male and female), and she is learning basic skills like leash pressure and crate training.

She would make a wonderful addition to a family that is patient and experienced with feral pups or willing to work with our trainer to help her progress in a home environment.

ADOPT

Elsa

Elsa is 8 years young and came from a neglect and abuse case in Colorado. She was confiscated from her "family," along with her son, Olaf. Elsa was so afraid when she arrived to our rescue and wouldn't stop shaking in the back of her crate. It took two weeks for her to gain confidence and trust us enough to start exploring the rescue.

The rest is history... since Elsa created a bond with us, she has opened up SO much! She lives for her walks, is obsessed with snuggles and will quite literally follow you anywhere you go. She is wonderful on car rides and loves a good pup cup!

Elsa's ideal family is someone who will continue to dress her up and treat her like the queen she is... lol. But really, she would thrive as an only pup who will spend the rest of her days spoiled, loved and cherished. She is going to make the most loyal and loving companion to a very lucky person/family.

ADOPT

Olaf

Olaf is Elsa's son who is 4 years old, deaf and the perfect mix of sweet and sensitive. Like Elsa, he came from a home of abuse and neglect. Often, getting attacked by his dad, a large male Pittie, without intervention from his owners. He and Elsa were confiscated and saved from their awful home in Colorado.

Olaf is now looking for a family who can understand that he needs special care and training due to being deaf. Olaf, although he looks tough, is equally as sensitive and eager to trust. However, it'll take some time to show this sweet boy that humans are safe and not to be feared.

Olaf has been in a board and train since arriving at the rescue and will remain with his trainer until he is adopted!

ADOPT

Zero

Zero is a 4 year old neutered, male Rottweiler from Riverside shelter. He was found tied to a stop sign in California. The day that we went to save him, the shelter had already labeled him as"euthanized," because he was next to be killed.

Zero came to us afraid, reactive and weary. He has made tremendous progress in the time we have had him! His favorite thing in the world is playing with a ball and going for walks. He is great on walks, loves exploring new outdoor spaces and rolling in the grass, and is the perfect dog to cuddle up with on the sofa.

Once you truly gain his trust, Zero will be the most loyal velcro dog! As with most Rottweilers, Zero needs a strong leader to respect his boundaries while also implementing structure. Z would thrive in a home that can continue the training that we have started and has experience with the breed!

Polly

Polly is a 3-4 year old, Downey Animal Shelter survivor from California. She is an adorable, active, playful and both, people and dog friendly, Pittie. She was past her euthanasia date at the shelter when Angie, an amazing human who saw her via Instagam, decided she needed to save her. She reached out to us saying that she'd foster and we jumped on saving her!

Polly is currently being fostered by Angie in Wyoming and is living with a Pittie foster brother who she is best friends with. She is seeking a loving forever home to play fetch with her and take her on tons of adventures!

ADOPT

Heidi

Heidi is a 2-3 year old German Shepherd that was saved from a neglect situation in Las Vegas, NV. She was often forgotten by her "family" in their backyard, to the point that they would forget to feed her and she would have to scavenge through the trash for meals.

Heidi came to us under socialized, malnourished, and unsure of humans and dogs. She has been at a board and train program in Utah for the past two months, learning all of the skills that she needs to be happy and successful in a home!

Heidi's ideal home is one without children or other pups and with humans that have experience with German Shepherds. She has come a long way since we rescued her but would thrive best in a home that is calm.

ADOPT

Dante (Medical)

Dante is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler who was bumped to the top of the euthanasia list at SEAACA shelter due to having a history of seizures. We saw how lively, loving, playful and full of life Dante was and knew we had to give him a chance at a life.

Dante is in a loving foster home in Ontario, California where he is getting the medical care and testing that he needs to diagnose what kind of seizure condition he has. He has seizures every week or two and would thrive with a family who is experienced with epilepsy or other seizure conditions.

Dante is adoptable to an experienced family. He has been spending the last few months in his loving foster home with humans and 5 other pups that love him so much!

ADOPT

Ziggy *Adoption Pending*

Ziggy is a gorgeous Chow Chow that we saved from Weber County Animal Shelter in Utah. He fits the Chow profile to a T: aloof, loving on his terms, loyal as hell and independent. He is also trusting, loving and affectionate with people that put the time in to earn his trust. Ziggy is good with men and women, as well as female dogs. He has two best friends at the rescue: Bambi, our female Doberman and Mocha, our female lab mix.

Ziggy loves going for walks and hikes, enjoys spending his free time on the porch or looking out the window at the neighborhood, and has the best time joining people on errands... especially, coffee runs for pup cups!

We are requiring a breed experienced family for Ziggy who will not only love Ziggy for his adorable teddy bear-like appearance, but also for his Chow personality!

ADOPT

Sedona *Adoption Pending*

Sedona is one of Mama Sahara's puppies that we rescued from Palmdale desert in California. Sedona is primarily a mix of American Pitbull Terrier, German Shepherd, and Chow Chow. She is about 8 months old now and is looking for a forever family!

Sedona is sweet but spunky. She loves to rough house with other pups but does wonderfully with guidance from humans regarding how to behave properly. She would thrive with a strong leader and someone who is dedicated to continuing her training. Sedona is the more dominant and confident of the desert litter puppies that we have left.

ADOPT

Coco *Adoption Pending*

Coco is a 4 year old, Mastiff and Boxer mix, who was set to be euthanized at an animal shelter in California alongside her brother. Her brother was tragically euthanized but Alisa, our rescue friend, was able to save Coco in time!

She has been with fostered by Alisa for the past year and is now, at our rescue looking for her forever home! She is the sweetest, most easy going soul who just wants to be a part of a loving family.
